Hello! I am a third year graduate student in the Physics and Astronomy Department at Dartmouth College.
I currently research two very different regimes: ultra-faint dwarf galaxies (UFDs) and active galactic nuclei (AGN).
I work with Professors Ryan Hickox,
Burçin Mutlu-Pakdil,
and Elisabeth Newton.
Broadly, I am interested in the evolution of galaxies, and how supermassive black holes impact this evolution.
I like to think about the short (days to months) and long (thousands of years) term variability of AGN as well as local analogs of high-redshift galaxies.
Much of my work is enabled by large scale, open-access surveys (e.g. eBOSS, MaNGA, LSST).
Welcome to my website, my hope is for this site to be accessible across various education levels --
don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
